It is your duty to provide your tenant with an annual landlords gas safety certificatewhich provides a safety inspection on each appliance owned by you. This certificate must only be issued by as Corgi registered engineer and must be carried out on any appliance which is over one year old. Checks need to have taken place within one year of the start of the tenancy date and then onh a yearly basis. These safety checks are in addition to regular annual servicing.
